Letters from America
The North Korean Freedom Coalition launched a special program entitled Letters from America. Letters will be read aloud and broadcasted into North Korea on a special program on Free North Korea Radio.
These letters are intended to give North Koreans a better perspective on how Americans really think and live. If you are interested in taking part in this program, send an email to prayer@odusa.org, including what you would like to say to the North Korean people.
Please keep the letter short-- with approximately 200-300 words in length and include your name and state. You can write more than once since this radio program is aired weekly. Remember that these letters are being read aloud to North Korea, and not just to believers, so please address the population at large and keep the language simple. Here is an example:

Dear North Korean Friends: We send our warmest greetings to each of you from the state of Georgia in the southern part of the United States. We pray for you each day and ask God's richest blessings on you and your family members. We pray for God to encourage you and to provide your needs. How we would love to sit down and visit with you and get to know you better. Right now we are enjoying the lovely flowers and trees that came from the Spring. I am sure that people in your country enjoy the spring weather too. We send our love and prayers for strength and that God may watch over you in all your ways.
Love, Martha and Charles in Georgia, Southern USA |
