International Day of Prayer
for the Persecuted Church

Thank you for joining with us in prayer for the persecuted Church. The free International Day of Prayer (IDOP) for the Persecuted Church kit is now available through Open Doors, and we’ve designed it to foster a memorable, spiritually exciting time for your church body.
If you have placed your request by October 28, 2007, your material should arrive in time for IDOP Sunday, November 11, 2007.

If you are planning to use the kit sometime after IDOP Sunday, you can still request it online and have it sent to either your church or your residence. Kits requested online will be shipped via US Mail and may not arrive before IDOP Sunday, November 11, 2007.
Our focus for IDOP this year is on a group of suffering Christians we call “Secret Believers.” Secret Believers are Christians who have left Islam to follow Jesus. The reason they worship in secret is made clear in this year’s IDOP kit.

We want to see your church unified through prayer, and see Secret Believers encouraged by the care and concern of the Body of Christ.
As a response to prayer, we also plan to equip Secret Believers with Scripture. Bibles are desperately needed to grow their young faith. For just $4, Open Doors prints and distributes one Bible to a Secret Believer.
This year, we have received a generous $125,000 matching grant specifically for Secret Believers. So every dollar that you give for Bibles will be matched by the $125,000 grant. This is an exciting opportunity to flood Secret Believers with God’s Word.
We thank you for praying for Secret Believers. Please request your IDOP Kit before October 29th and have it sent to either your church or your residence. Then, begin mobilizing your church to pray. In response to your prayer, consider how many Bibles you might be able to give to those in need of His Word.
